This Woman Knows Terri Schiavo's Plight

The woman to whom the title of this post refers is Kate Adamson. Please read the article to which I have linked by clicking on the title to this post or by clicking here.

. . . Like Terri, the doctors felt that Kate was someone who should not or could not be saved. Kate suffered a catastrophic brain stem stroke and was dependent on a feeding tube for all her nourishment. Kate had her feeding tube turned off for over a week. . .

. . . "I have a unique understanding of what Terri is feeling. I could feel everything that the doctors did to me, and I could do nothing. I was at the complete mercy of others, and they couldn't hear me." -- Kate Adamson

God bless Kate Adamson, but most of all, may God bless and protect Terri Schiavo from those who would make her die of thirst and starvation.

As this is a Friday in Lent, when we are called to fast and abstinence, I can't think of a better day on which to start.
