A Thought Provoking Post at Doctor Sanity

Dr. Pat Santy of the blog Doctor Sanity has a thoughtful post wherein she shares some of her perspective regarding the immigration issue. The title of the post is The Immigration Issue - My Two Cents.

Although she frankly admits in the piece that she doesn't claim to have the answers to all of the problems that illegal immigration entails, the beauty of her post (as is the case with so much of what she writes) is that it seeks to provoke thought and rational discourse regarding a very thorny issue. And isn't that how we must start? That's a rhetorical question. Yes, that IS how we must start.

Otherwise, we can sit idly by and watch the horrible consequences of our inaction overtake us.

Please read the piece and begin to exercise your minds. "Contribute constructively to the thought and the discourse" appears to me to be an unspoken motto at Doctor Sanity, because if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
