John McCain and his Cohort in Crime

Just for his part in this, without taking any other of his idiotic actions into account, John McCain ought to be charged with high treason and crimes against the American people and the Constitution.

I warned and warned people here in Arizona that if they re-elected this erstwhile "conservative," that they would get something totally other than what McCain had been selling long ago. My pleas for reason didn't matter. The majority of Arizonans went right ahead and voted for the co-author of the McCain-Feingold abomination.

If this were an average situation, I would typically just tell them that by having voted for McCain they had just made their own coffins and now they must lie in them.

But this is no longer an average situation and the stupidity of their votes for McCain is now coming to adversely affect the entire nation, not just our state. It is no longer only the fools who voted for him having to lie in the coffins of their making.

Do I have the answers now on how to stop this McCain-Feingold monstrosity? No, I do not. However, a lot of bloggers are on this issue.

Also, bear the following in mind even after we stop this tragedy and travesty: there was a half-hearted effort to launch a recall drive against Senator McCain back in the first part of 2001, before 9/11. After 9/11 happened, the recall effort was abandoned. I say it's high time that recall effort was resurrected. To my fellow Arizonans I say, "For the love of God, whatever you do, don't vote for this backstabbing pseudo-conservative bastard again!"
