La Shawn Barber's Interview with a Minuteman Project Volunteer

La Shawn Barber has posted her excellent interview with a volunteer of the Minuteman Project. Here is one excerpt from her post:

. . . the problem in Arizona is insane! It’s been years since we had a daylight drive through in San Diego (this is where a stolen truck is used to ram the border fence, then charge though to the nearest road, where dope and people are transferred to another vehicle) in Arizona — it happens every day…[L]et me assure you and your readers of this: Come out to Arizona — you and anyone that wants to see this with their own eyes. If you are not totally flipped out by the unbelievable chaos that is taking place — dinner is on me.

Most folks I’ve taken down to San Diego (also open for you or your readers to see) can’t get their head around the total lack of control and lawlessness — and it’s tame compared to AZ! Total insanity. Right here in the USA. No kidding.

I don't know John Smallberries, the volunteer who was interviewed, but I can assure you that he is not exaggerating. As he says in the interview, he does not live in Arizona. I do live in Arizona. Everything he says is true. He also puts his finger on the crux of the problem -- i.e. the rest of the country feels that the illegal alien invasion is "somebody else's" problem.

People, this is not someone else's problem if you are a U.S. citizen. Whether you are reading this in Minnesota or Ohio, Michigan or New York, this problem is not going to go away and it is not going to confine its disastrous effects to Arizona. You cannot afford to pretend that it doesn't exist. You cannot afford to continue shrugging your shoulders and saying that you are immune because you don't live in a state near the Mexican border.

Educate yourselves. Please read La Shawn's interview. Also, please check out the site of The Minuteman Project. I beseech you not to ignore the problem with illegal immigration. I implore you not to rely on misinformation or disinformation. Arizona needs your help. The Minuteman Project needs your help. And of course, we the people of the United States of America need your help to put a stop to the scourge of illegal immigration.
