The Gossamer Thin Line

Hmm. Ya' know the difference between Jeff Goldstein of Protein Wisdom and Jim Treacher of Mother, May I Sleep with Treacher?

The difference is that Goldstein is constantly treading the thin line between pure genius and pure insanity as though he were a blindfolded tightrope walker with extremely perceptive feet that might at any minute get an itch. Just like a tightrope walker, it's fascinating but still kind of scary to watch.

Treacher is staggering all over that same thin line about a mile wide on each side like your most belovèd family drunk after a 3 day binge, and damned if you don't want to join him. But I mean that in a good way. After all, at least Goldstein and Treacher have located the line, whereas I still don't get that geometry stuff. . .

You've been told and NOW YOU KNOW.
