My dear Brother Bishops and Priests,
Distinguished Authorities and Members of the Diplomatic Corps,
Dear Brothers and Sisters,

During these days of great intensity, we have chanted the litany of the saints on three different occasions: at the funeral of our Holy Father John Paul II; as the Cardinals entered the Conclave; and again today, when we sang it with the response: Tu illum adiuva – sustain the new Successor of Saint Peter. On each occasion, in a particular way, I found great consolation in listening to this prayerful chant. How alone we all felt after the passing of John Paul II – the Pope who for over twenty-six years had been our shepherd and guide on our journey through life! He crossed the threshold of the next life, entering into the mystery of God. But he did not take this step alone. Those who believe are never alone – neither in life nor in death. At that moment, we could call upon the Saints from every age – his friends, his brothers and sisters in the faith – knowing that they would form a living procession to accompany him into the next world, into the glory of God. We knew that his arrival was awaited. Now we know that he is among his own and is truly at home. We were also consoled as we made our solemn entrance into Conclave, to elect the one whom the Lord had chosen. How would we be able to discern his name? How could 115 Bishops, from every culture and every country, discover the one on whom the Lord wished to confer the mission of binding and loosing? Once again, we knew that we were not alone, we knew that we were surrounded, led and guided by the friends of God. And now, at this moment, weak servant of God that I am, I must assume this enormous task, which truly exceeds all human capacity. How can I do this? How will I be able to do it? All of you, my dear friends, have just invoked the entire host of Saints, represented by some of the great names in the history of God’s dealings with mankind. In this way, I too can say with renewed conviction: I am not alone. I do not have to carry alone what in truth I could never carry alone. All the Saints of God are there to protect me, to sustain me and to carry me. And your prayers, my dear friends, your indulgence, your love, your faith and your hope accompany me. Indeed, the communion of Saints consists not only of the great men and women who went before us and whose names we know. All of us belong to the communion of Saints, we who have been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, we who draw life from the gift of Christ’s Body and Blood, through which he transforms us and makes us like himself. Yes, the Church is alive – this is the wonderful experience of these days. During those sad days of the Pope’s illness and death, it became wonderfully evident to us that the Church is alive. And the Church is young. She holds within herself the future of the world and therefore shows each of us the way towards the future. The Church is alive and we are seeing it: we are experiencing the joy that the Risen Lord promised his followers. The Church is alive – she is alive because Christ is alive, because he is truly risen. In the suffering that we saw on the Holy Father’s face in those days of Easter, we contemplated the mystery of Christ’s Passion and we touched his wounds. But throughout these days we have also been able, in a profound sense, to touch the Risen One. We have been able to experience the joy that he promised, after a brief period of darkness, as the fruit of his resurrection.

The Church is alive – with these words, I greet with great joy and gratitude all of you gathered here, my venerable brother Cardinals and Bishops, my dear priests, deacons, Church workers, catechists. I greet you, men and women Religious, witnesses of the transfiguring presence of God. I greet you, members of the lay faithful, immersed in the great task of building up the Kingdom of God which spreads throughout the world, in every area of life. With great affection I also greet all those who have been reborn in the sacrament of Baptism but are not yet in full communion with us; and you, my brothers and sisters of the Jewish people, to whom we are joined by a great shared spiritual heritage, one rooted in God’s irrevocable promises. Finally, like a wave gathering force, my thoughts go out to all men and women of today, to believers and non-believers alike.

Dear friends! At this moment there is no need for me to present a programme of governance. I was able to give an indication of what I see as my task in my Message of Wednesday 20 April, and there will be other opportunities to do so. My real programme of governance is not to do my own will, not to pursue my own ideas, but to listen, together with the whole Church, to the word and the will of the Lord, to be guided by Him, so that He himself will lead the Church at this hour of our history. Instead of putting forward a programme, I should simply like to comment on the two liturgical symbols which represent the inauguration of the Petrine Ministry; both these symbols, moreover, reflect clearly what we heard proclaimed in today’s readings.

The first symbol is the Pallium, woven in pure wool, which will be placed on my shoulders. This ancient sign, which the Bishops of Rome have worn since the fourth century, may be considered an image of the yoke of Christ, which the Bishop of this City, the Servant of the Servants of God, takes upon his shoulders. God’s yoke is God’s will, which we accept. And this will does not weigh down on us, oppressing us and taking away our freedom. To know what God wants, to know where the path of life is found – this was Israel’s joy, this was her great privilege. It is also our joy: God’s will does not alienate us, it purifies us – even if this can be painful – and so it leads us to ourselves. In this way, we serve not only him, but the salvation of the whole world, of all history. The symbolism of the Pallium is even more concrete: the lamb’s wool is meant to represent the lost, sick or weak sheep which the shepherd places on his shoulders and carries to the waters of life. For the Fathers of the Church, the parable of the lost sheep, which the shepherd seeks in the desert, was an image of the mystery of Christ and the Church. The human race – every one of us – is the sheep lost in the desert which no longer knows the way. The Son of God will not let this happen; he cannot abandon humanity in so wretched a condition. He leaps to his feet and abandons the glory of heaven, in order to go in search of the sheep and pursue it, all the way to the Cross. He takes it upon his shoulders and carries our humanity; he carries us all – he is the good shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep. What the Pallium indicates first and foremost is that we are all carried by Christ. But at the same time it invites us to carry one another. Hence the Pallium becomes a symbol of the shepherd’s mission, of which the Second Reading and the Gospel speak. The pastor must be inspired by Christ’s holy zeal: for him it is not a matter of indifference that so many people are living in the desert. And there are so many kinds of desert. There is the desert of poverty, the desert of hunger and thirst, the desert of abandonment, of loneliness, of destroyed love. There is the desert of God’s darkness, the emptiness of souls no longer aware of their dignity or the goal of human life. The external deserts in the world are growing, because the internal deserts have become so vast. Therefore the earth’s treasures no longer serve to build God’s garden for all to live in, but they have been made to serve the powers of exploitation and destruction. The Church as a whole and all her Pastors, like Christ, must set out to lead people out of the desert, towards the place of life, towards friendship with the Son of God, towards the One who gives us life, and life in abundance. The symbol of the lamb also has a deeper meaning. In the Ancient Near East, it was customary for kings to style themselves shepherds of their people. This was an image of their power, a cynical image: to them their subjects were like sheep, which the shepherd could dispose of as he wished. When the shepherd of all humanity, the living God, himself became a lamb, he stood on the side of the lambs, with those who are downtrodden and killed. This is how he reveals himself to be the true shepherd: “I am the Good Shepherd . . . I lay down my life for the sheep”, Jesus says of himself (Jn 10:14f). It is not power, but love that redeems us! This is God’s sign: he himself is love. How often we wish that God would make show himself stronger, that he would strike decisively, defeating evil and creating a better world. All ideologies of power justify themselves in exactly this way, they justify the destruction of whatever would stand in the way of progress and the liberation of humanity. We suffer on account of God’s patience. And yet, we need his patience. God, who became a lamb, tells us that the world is saved by the Crucified One, not by those who crucified him. The world is redeemed by the patience of God. It is destroyed by the impatience of man.

One of the basic characteristics of a shepherd must be to love the people entrusted to him, even as he loves Christ whom he serves. “Feed my sheep”, says Christ to Peter, and now, at this moment, he says it to me as well. Feeding means loving, and loving also means being ready to suffer. Loving means giving the sheep what is truly good, the nourishment of God’s truth, of God’s word, the nourishment of his presence, which he gives us in the Blessed Sacrament. My dear friends – at this moment I can only say: pray for me, that I may learn to love the Lord more and more. Pray for me, that I may learn to love his flock more and more – in other words, you, the holy Church, each one of you and all of you together. Pray for me, that I may not flee for fear of the wolves. Let us pray for one another, that the Lord will carry us and that we will learn to carry one another.

The second symbol used in today’s liturgy to express the inauguration of the Petrine Ministry is the presentation of the fisherman’s ring. Peter’s call to be a shepherd, which we heard in the Gospel, comes after the account of a miraculous catch of fish: after a night in which the disciples had let down their nets without success, they see the Risen Lord on the shore. He tells them to let down their nets once more, and the nets become so full that they can hardly pull them in; 153 large fish: “and although there were so many, the net was not torn” (Jn 21:11). This account, coming at the end of Jesus’s earthly journey with his disciples, corresponds to an account found at the beginning: there too, the disciples had caught nothing the entire night; there too, Jesus had invited Simon once more to put out into the deep. And Simon, who was not yet called Peter, gave the wonderful reply: “Master, at your word I will let down the nets.” And then came the conferral of his mission: “Do not be afraid. Henceforth you will be catching men” (Lk 5:1-11). Today too the Church and the successors of the Apostles are told to put out into the deep sea of history and to let down the nets, so as to win men and women over to the Gospel – to God, to Christ, to true life. The Fathers made a very significant commentary on this singular task. This is what they say: for a fish, created for water, it is fatal to be taken out of the sea, to be removed from its vital element to serve as human food. But in the mission of a fisher of men, the reverse is true. We are living in alienation, in the salt waters of suffering and death; in a sea of darkness without light. The net of the Gospel pulls us out of the waters of death and brings us into the splendour of God’s light, into true life. It is really true: as we follow Christ in this mission to be fishers of men, we must bring men and women out of the sea that is salted with so many forms of alienation and onto the land of life, into the light of God. It is really so: the purpose of our lives is to reveal God to men. And only where God is seen does life truly begin. Only when we meet the living God in Christ do we know what life is. We are not some casual and meaningless product of evolution. Each of us is the result of a thought of God. Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary. There is nothing more beautiful than to be surprised by the Gospel, by the encounter with Christ. There is nothing more beautiful than to know Him and to speak to others of our friendship with Him. The task of the shepherd, the task of the fisher of men, can often seem wearisome. But it is beautiful and wonderful, because it is truly a service to joy, to God’s joy which longs to break into the world.

Here I want to add something: both the image of the shepherd and that of the fisherman issue an explicit call to unity. “I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must lead them too, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd” (Jn 10:16); these are the words of Jesus at the end of his discourse on the Good Shepherd. And the account of the 153 large fish ends with the joyful statement: “although there were so many, the net was not torn” (Jn 21:11). Alas, beloved Lord, with sorrow we must now acknowledge that it has been torn! But no – we must not be sad! Let us rejoice because of your promise, which does not disappoint, and let us do all we can to pursue the path towards the unity you have promised. Let us remember it in our prayer to the Lord, as we plead with him: yes, Lord, remember your promise. Grant that we may be one flock and one shepherd! Do not allow your net to be torn, help us to be servants of unity!

At this point, my mind goes back to 22 October 1978, when Pope John Paul II began his ministry here in Saint Peter’s Square. His words on that occasion constantly echo in my ears: “Do not be afraid! Open wide the doors for Christ!” The Pope was addressing the mighty, the powerful of this world, who feared that Christ might take away something of their power if they were to let him in, if they were to allow the faith to be free. Yes, he would certainly have taken something away from them: the dominion of corruption, the manipulation of law and the freedom to do as they pleased. But he would not have taken away anything that pertains to human freedom or dignity, or to the building of a just society. The Pope was also speaking to everyone, especially the young. Are we not perhaps all afraid in some way? If we let Christ enter fully into our lives, if we open ourselves totally to him, are we not afraid that He might take something away from us? Are we not perhaps afraid to give up something significant, something unique, something that makes life so beautiful? Do we not then risk ending up diminished and deprived of our freedom? And once again the Pope said: No! If we let Christ into our lives, we lose nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing of what makes life free, beautiful and great. No! Only in this friendship are the doors of life opened wide. Only in this friendship is the great potential of human existence truly revealed. Only in this friendship do we experience beauty and liberation. And so, today, with great strength and great conviction, on the basis of long personal experience of life, I say to you, dear young people: Do not be afraid of Christ! He takes nothing away, and he gives you everything. When we give ourselves to him, we receive a hundredfold in return. Yes, open, open wide the doors to Christ – and you will find true life. Amen.

Oh God, this is a horrible day for my church ... I am probably completely out the door now. I can't believe the cardinals were such dimwitted creepazoids as to elect nasty-ass Ratzinger pope. I was Anybody But Bush in the last U.S. presidential election and I was Anybody But Ratzinger in this papal election. I can't believe they elected RatFink. My church is committing suicide. This guy is the most hardline cardinal, opposed to all winds of openness and all efforts to make the church responsive to the needs of the people. This is the guy who, when deep thinkers and impeccable scholars question elements of doctrinal policy, he just gags them and kicks them out. I'm gutted. May God save the church from RatFink's hands. Pope Benedict? Pope Maledict. I think I'm going to throw up.

Habemus Papam! We Need to Sing a Te Deum.

Habemus Papam! We have a Pope. Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger is now Pope Benedict XVI. I can hear the shrieks and screams, the wailing and gnashing of teeth of every moonbat, "liberal," secularist and just plain nuts freak in the world, and particularly here in America. The feminists are wetting their panties. The front-tailed monkeys are screeching and hopping up and down as their knuckles drag the ground.

For the above reasons alone, we need to fall to our needs and thank the Lord our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Pope Benedict XVI is a holy man who strikes fear and revulsion into the very hearts of those are the Church's staunchest enemies and detractors. They are having apoplectic fits even as I type this. Good! Pax et Bonum.

Cardinal Ratzinger has said:

"We are moving, toward a dictatorship of relativism which does not recognize anything as for certain and which has as its highest goal one's own ego and one's own desires."

He has also said that the modern world has jumped "from one extreme to the other: from Marxism to liberalism, even to libertinism; from collectivism to radical individualism; from atheism to a vague religious mysticism; from agnosticism to syncretism."

Our Blessèd new Pope Benedict XVI has also previously stated, "having a clear faith, based on the creed of the church, is often labeled today as fundamentalism."

Truer words were never spoken about how the modern culture and media have consistently sought to depict all Christians, not just Catholics, as fanatics or veritable maniacs. Here is a Pope who calls a spade a spade.

No wonder that the secular world shudders. It has always hated hearing the truth about itself. That is why they will detest our new Pope with as much fervent hatred as we will revere and love him.

As you know if you have been reading this blog, I have very recently left the Libertarian party after many, many years of being an active and contributing member. I have contributed to campaigns, stuffed envelopes, made phone calls and whatever I could do to promote the idea of liberty as our founding fathers knew it.

As you also know, I wrote in detail here about why I left a party that has abandoned the principles of liberty to espouse libertinism and murder.

Any political party that would cheer and actively support the murder of Terri Schiavo, abortion, and indeed, the murder of any and all cannot be my political party. Their stance is no longer a stance for liberty, it is a stance of irresponsible lunacy.

And speaking of irresponsible lunatics, here's what one mongoloid idiot on the internet has to say:

Here's a thoughtful individual who thinks that Terri Schiavo ought to have been kept alive, and doesn't have much good to say about those who disagree. For someone who says "I can't think of a hell deep enough for you all to fry in, but I don't have to think of one. God has that covered," he doesn't seem at all sure that God's going to be stern enough.

I've got a definition of hell for you: An eternity of this guy screaming in one ear and Brian Leiter screaming in the other.

That poor moron, going by the name of Mme. Puce or whatever it's calling itself, has a blog (if one can call it that) where it rarely posts anything at all, but its infrequency of posting must be taken for a mercy and a virtue. It's bad enough that such an uneducated and virtually illiterate troglodyte as Señorita Fuchsia even has a blog. Compounding the offense of its deliberate ignorance and subnormal IQ, it also has a total disregard for human life (you know, all those life forms who are superior to Frau Chartreuse).

BOYCOTT FLORIDA! -- Terri Schiavo Aftermath

All of us who protested the murder of Terri Schindler-Schiavo need to send a loud and clear message to the state of Florida where that atrocity of inhumane torture, starvation and dehydration was committed.

It's not enough to hold Michael Schiavo, George Felon Felos and judge George W. Greer accountable. True, they were major players that brought about the cruel killing of Terri, but three men could never have done it alone. Just look at the mindset of these monsters in Pinellas Country, Florida.

Not to mention the Florida law enforcement agencies that enabled this murder when their sworn duty is to serve and to protect. Evidently they serve and protect murderers, not innocent life.

Don't forget the Florida legislature either and their role in this abomination. Don't forget the people of Florida who elected them and put these faithless and feckless legislators in power.

Don't buy products from Florida. Don't spend your vaction dollars in Florida. Don't plan or hold business or organizational conventions in Florida.

Let's him them where it hurts. So many championed and hastened Terri's death under the war cry of "Kill the people who cost money!" Fine. Money is their god. Let's hurt them in the only way they understand.

It will be a cold day in hell before I visit Florida as a tourist or spend my money at its theme parks (such as Disneyworld, Epcot Center, etc.) Why should our money go to support and enable them? Why should the money of pro-life individuals and organizations fatten Florida's coffers?

And as far as hurricane aid goes, never again will I donate to Florida after one of their many and repeated natural disasters. Never until we have sent a loud and clear message: Florida, we will NOT financially enable you to become the euthanasia center for the US or the world.

Remember when states were boycotted just for not declaring Martin Luther King Day as a paid state holiday? Remember the impact that had?

Florida and all states that support the killing of the innocent need to be sent the same message. We do not support you and neither will our dollars!

Our fight to preserve innocent life would be so much easier if we did not have to contend with the ignorant and delusional rantings of bloodthirsty monsters such as this:

Today a bunch of rightie bloggers are worked up over the case of a Georgia woman who they say is neither terminal nor comatose but is being deprived of care by a grandaughter who, naturally will inherit a bunch of money when Granny dies. In other words, they've found their new Terri Schiavo.

Now, if the facts of the case are as the bloggers describe them, poor Granny is indeed being callously and cruelly starved to death. However, if the facts of the case are as the bloggers describe them, I will eat my sneakers.

Sneakers, huh? That's considerably more to eat than you inhumane bastard spawn gave to Terri Schiavo to eat when you championed her starvation and dehydration. Bon appétit! With any luck, you'll choke on those sneakers and there will be no one around to administer the Heimlich manoeuvre, which no doubt you would refuse anyway. Why is Hospice LaGrange, Ga. withholding nourishment?

Mae Magouirk is being withheld nourishment and fluids and the Provisions of her Living Will are not being honored at the Hospice-LaGrange, (1510 Vernon Street, LaGrange “Troup County” Georgia, (706-845-3905) a subsidiary of the LaGrange Hospital in LaGrange Georgia.

Her family is desperately seeking to save her life before she dies of malnourishment and dehydration.

Mae Magouirk IS NOT comatose and she IS NOT vegetative. She is not terminal!

Despite these facts the Hospice and Beth Gaddy (706-882-9124), a school teacher at LaGrange’s Calloway Middle School and granddaughter of Mae Magouirk(who according to "heresay," may have been mismanaging funds of the 85 yr-old woman) have been denying her proactive nourishment or fluids (via a nose administered feeding tube or fluids via an IV) since March 28 without prior legal consent; against the wishes of her Living Will and against the wishes of Mae Magouirk’s closest living next of kin. Mae Magouirk’s next of kin are: Mr. A. B. McLeod (Her Brother 256-236-1331) and Mrs. Lonnie Ruth Mullinax (Her sister 205-408-7598) both of nearby Anniston, Alabama.

Under Georgia law, unless a medical durable power of attorney is in place, your closest living next of kin are stipulated to make all medical decisions. When Mae Magouirk’s closest living next of kin lodged a complaint with Hospice LaGrange’s in-house attorney Carol Todd (706-882-1411) last Thursday, March 31, Ms. Todd checked Mae Magouirk’s case file and upon examination of both documents discovered that Beth Gaddy DID NOT have the durable medical power of attorney for Mae Magouirk and upon closer examination of Mae Magouirk’s Living Will ascertained that fluids and nourishment were ONLY TO BE WITHHELD if she was either comatose or vegetative.

SHE IS IN NEITHER STATE!!!

Nor is Mae Magouirk terminally ill. Her local LaGrange, Ga. cardiologist, Dr. James Brennan (706-812-4308) and Dr. Raed Aqel, (205-934-9999) a highly acclaimed interventional cardiologist at the nationally renowned University of Alabama-Birmingham Medical Center have determined that Mae Magouirk’s aortic dissection is contained and not presently life threatening.

Two weeks ago, Mae Magouirk’s aorta had a dissection and she was hospitalized in the LaGrange Hospital in LaGrange, Ga. Her aortic problem was at first determined to be severe and she was admitted in the intensive care Unit. On the personal side, I know that many if not all of you are emotionally and perhaps physically exhausted from all of your efforts during the last week of Terri's life. I share that malady. We fought hard, but we were new at the game of trying to save a life with our keyboards, and allowed ourselves to often think with our hearts instead of our heads.

But that's behind us, and we are a larger group now and growing, we've gained some experience and contacts, we've learned a little more about how to work together and are getting better organized, and we are learning how to divide up our labors and act quickly. Let's try to avoid letting our hearts overtake us, let's use them because they are a great asset, but we have to outsmart and outwork the euthanasia crowd, and let's not forget that. We are likely to have many people like Terri that need our help, so let's move forward methodically and with determination to stay the course, together.

One last thing: We know how hateful and angry our opposition can be, but let's not fall into the trap of getting angry ourselves - let's keep our cool, be an example for others to follow, and by all means pray hard and fight hard.

Early Employment: Michael Schiavo’s initial employment in Florida was the onset of employment at six different restaurants over the ensuing 2 ½ years. His length of employment at times was only for two weeks to a month.

Michael Schiavo’s attitude was a major contributor to his chronic unemployment. He had a tendency to outspend Terri’s income, and his inability to retain employment created a serious financial problem, impacting their marriage. Also, it has been alleged that Michael’s restaurant environment introduced him to drugs.

Some Background Information: Most people, particularly Terri, were easily intimidated because of Michael’s size. It has been documented that Michael had rages of anger and would use his physical stature to bully people, and as indicated in their attached personal experiences and affidavits, it was mostly women that were the subject of Michael’s episodes of anger.

In the early 1990’s, Michael Schiavo’s treating psychiatrist, Dr. Peter Kaplan, stated in a phone conversation with Terri’s father, in regards to a violent episode occurring between Michael and Terri’s younger sister Suzanne, that Michael was potentially dangerous and should a situation re occur, to call the police.

In a deposition from November 1992, that Michael admitted Dr. Kaplan prescribed Welbutron, Paneior, Elavil and Prozac medication to treat his condition.

Additionally, contrary to everything Michael admittedly learned in his CPR training, he did not turn Terri over and clear her airway the night that she collapsed. His CPR training could have re-started her heart.

So, William and Claire Schiavo are deceased and aren't around to see what their sons have become and what they have done to their family name.

Michael is the youngest of five boys. I've previously run across mention of Scott, Steve, and Brian. With Michael, that only makes 4 of their sons.

Misplaced Sympathy for the Murderers of Terri Schiavo

Have some of you completely lost your minds? When I read in blog after blog the pleas and requests for prayers on behalf of Michael Schiavo, George Felos, judge George W. Greer et al., it boggles the mind! If pray for them you must, then pray that they be shown the error of their ways, pray that they be brought to repentance, pray that they be called to ask for forgiveness and seek salvation through Christ our Lord.

But all that other nonsense about "not judging" the murderers who are still stained with the blood of their victim and still smiling and boasting amid the very reek of their iniquity has got to stop. Are you trying to turn your other cheek for Terri Schindler (Schiavo)? Can you possibly think that you have been appointed to turn your cheek for her, to turn your cheek for her wronged family?

Are you even aware that praying for someone in the abyss of their wickedness when they are without the slightest hint of remorse can anger God, rather than move Him to mercy?

More importantly, Christianity is not a faith in which one can adhere to some of its teachings but not others. You do not get to pick and choose and build your own "mix and match" version of Christianity. There are people who claim that they share some of our Christian beliefs, but unfortunately, sharing some profits them nothing. Satan himself knows there is a God and Satan himself can quote scripture. Big deal. Sharing some is just another way of saying losing all.

On La Shawn Barber's blog, there is a letter from one of her readers who bemoans an alleged lack of compassion for Michael Schiavo. "But he's God's child too!" is the import of what that letter writer wails.

While it may pain some to hear it, nevertheless, the truth must be spoken:

God cannot love Michael Schiavo while he unrepentantly wallows in the sins that he is in the process of committing. The rapist in the act of committing rape, the murderer in the act of committing murder will cry in vain to God, if they cry to Him at all.

One is not Christian if one condones evil, sympathizes with evil, or enables evil. God cannot bear to look at such unrepentant sin in the making. God's love is very much conditional. If He loved you just the way you are, there would have been no need for our Savior's sacrifice on the cross. If everyone were equally loved no matter what, there would be no need for a Redeemer and there would be no hell.

If you want prayers and compassion for Michael Schiavo et al., you should be praying that God will move their hearts from their current course of defiant evil and open their minds, hearts and souls to the grace of salvation which can only be attained through Christ our Lord.

There can be no love or forgiveness from God while one is in the very throes of stubborn, blind, unrepentant sin.

I implore all those, whom the Holy Spirit may move to do so, to reject the Disneyfication of Christianity, to reject the "happy endings for one and all" nonsense that makes a mockery of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross.

If one must pray for Michael Schiavo, let it be a prayer that he and those like him will turn from a course that leads inevitably to death and damnation.

However, in the meantime, pray most fervently that the next Terri Schindler (Schiavo) may be spared from a cruel and inhumane death at the hands of monsters, aided and abetted by misguided and misinformed pseudo-Christians who base their beliefs on whatever passing whim they feel from moment to moment, rather than on the Word of God.

Catholic Teaching on Terri Schiavo's Murder Is NOT "Nuanced."

There are some incredibly misguided and ill-catechized individuals on the internet who are claiming that the Catholic Church's teaching on "euthanasia" (i.e. murder) is "nuanced."

That is utter nonsense. Even worse, it's a lie. The truth is that Satan is nuanced and he himself can quote and twist scripture and God's own words into the most "nuanced" amount of pernicious false doctrine that you could ever fear to see or hear. Don't forget Satan's tempation of Christ during Christ's 40 days in the wilderness. Satan is supposedly THE most beautiful of God's angels, capable of deceiving the nations with the most attractive sounding lies. Christ's teachings however are clear. Christ our Savior did not make things nuanced. He spoke plainly to plain people so that they would not be confused or left in the dark. If you are feeling confused at Christ's teaching, the fault lies not in the teacher but in the student.

When the Vatican and even the pope clearly state that withholding food and water is ALWAYS contrary to church doctrine, then one can no longer have the slightest room for doubt or the faintest bit of room for nuance. Food and water are NEVER extraordinary means of saving a life. They are indeed basic requirements.

As for degrees of culpability based on whether one is ignorant or not, one can no longer plead ignorance when the Vatican and the Pope have already made a pronouncement. Then there is no longer the possibility of ignorance other than wilful, deliberate, malicious ignorance. If one stubbornly insists on remaining in ignorance in spite of clear teaching, that constitutes mortal sin.

Do not be deceived or misled by these liberal so-called Catholics or Christians. Christian teaching regarding murder, and especially the murder of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, leaves no room whatsoever for debate. The only ones who would claim that there is room for debate and nuance are the wolves in sheep's clothing about whom Christ repeatedly warned us. They are the lawyers, scribes and Pharisees against whom Christ and his followers had to constantly and vigilantly fight. They strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. They scour the earth for converts and when they have found them, they make them twice as fit for hell as those Pharisees themselves are.

Do not listen to them, do not dispute or debate with them. Do not cast pearls before those swine. Terri Schindler-Schaivo's blood is upon them. How can they escape the fires of hell? Through repentance, submission and the grace of God alone, through the blood shed by Christ our Lord. So far, these nominal "Catholics" have shown no indication of exhibiting any of the above.

For the last time, there is NO nuance to Christian teaching on this matter. Terri Schindler-Schiavo was murdered and those who seek to excuse, to mollify, or to obfuscate that truth are complicit in that murder. We cannot allow such a thing to happen again. We do not have the luxury of pleading ignorance. We know better.

I have been an active and contributing member of the Libertarian party for longer than most of you reading this have been alive, but that ends effective immediately.

I can no longer work for or contribute to a party that prides itself on having murdered Terri Schindler-Schiavo and pats itself on the back that it struck a "blow for privacy." Yes, you all struck a blow alright, but it certainly wasn't for privacy.

The Glenn Reynolds types of the world can all go piss up a wet rope. It will be an ice cold day in hell before I promote or espouse the Libertarian party ever again.

You all truly make me want to vomit. I hope this blow that you struck for so-called "privacy" comes back to haunt each and every one of you.

The ideals of liberty for which I have worked so long and for which I mistakenly and grievously thought the Libertarian party stood do not include depriving the disabled of their right to life. The ideals of liberty in which I believe do not include letting husbands get away with murder. The ideals of liberty that I cherish would never allow an adulterous man who has spawned bastards to kill his legal wife in order to make way for his adultress waiting in the wings. You Libertarians may call your actions liberty, but I call them repulsive. Liberty without a moral compass or a shred of consideration for others is not Libertarian, it is simply libertinism in the manner of the Marquis de Sade.

Ignorant or just plain stupid people who have misread Rabelais often mistranslate his famous line from Gargantua, "Fay Ce Que Vouldras" as "Do What Thou Wilt." That was not Rabelais' intent, but apparently it is the intent of the debased and degraded Libertarian party and those who consider themselves Libertarians. It appears that their motto now is to do whatever they wish, no matter how heinous, and screw the rest of the world. I cannot support or be associated with such vicious vermin, much less their shyster lawyers or their lawyerly-minded little saps. Your liberties end where the other person's nose begins and you have all taken leave of your senses and forgotten that. Rabelais' words (if you knew anything at all!) should NOT be translated as "Do What Thou Wilt" but rather "Thy Will Be Done," as in the Lord's Prayer. That's what Rabelais meant. But you have twisted it from doing the Lord's will to doing your own will without the slightest shred of self-restraint.

A party that thinks that abortion is a "private matter" has now also gone further and called the murder of a helpless patient a "private matter." But the Libertarian party which I strove to build was one in which the rights of liberty would be extended even to the unborn and the disabled.

No, I disavow and renounce all ties with the Libertarian party and any and all who claim to be Libertarian or Libertarian-leaning. I'm thoroughly ashamed of and disgusted by all of you. Abortion Advocates Cheer Terri Schiavo Loss in Florida Senate

"Apparently Planned Parenthood isn't content with killing 244,628 innocent children in the last year through abortion. In a Wednesday, March 30, phone conversation with Bereit, the Planned Parenthood executive admitted to sending the e-mail and said, "We just felt that it was pretty courageous of them (the six senators) to do what they did, and it's always a good idea to thank legislators when they do something you like."

Planned Parenthood?!?! Excuse me, but that should actually be, "Unplanned Pregnancy NON-Parenthood" or "Unplanned Pregnancy Baby Killers" or "Wanton Sex Without Consequences" (except of course to the unborn baby. To the baby the consequences are FATAL and irreversible.) These dregs, lees and dross of society are ecstatic about the murder of a helpless woman. They're so happy in fact that they admit they are thanking legislators for the murder.

Folks, we are not on the verge of a slippery slope. Will you all please stop saying that we are on the verge? We have already slid all the way down that slope to rock bottom. Human life has been decreed to have no value whatsoever and now our very lives are at the mercy of the arbitrary whims of judicial (but not judicious!) decree.

I see a lot of people saying all of this could have been avoided if only Terri had made out a living will. Trouble is, until the last few weeks, nobody knew you needed a living will if you wanted to, you know, live.

Terri certainly didn’t know that, but she should have known that you’d need one if you wanted to die, because before she suffered her injury that was the way living wills were understood.

Judge ~~Kevorkian~~ Greer’s rulings amount to redefining a living will without legislative input. Where I come from, that’s called judicial activism.

How many other people are in circumstances similar to Terri’s, who assumed before they fell ill or were injured, that they would only need a living will if they wanted to be allowed to die? To put it another way, how many other people are now at risk of being put to death against their wishes, because of the Schiavo precedent?

That is unconscionable. One judge usurps the legislative power, and who knows how many people will die as a result?

You really must read the whole thing, especially his version of his own Living Will. In their Mickey Mouse court today, ~~3 blind mice~~ 12 blind rats once again put their seal of approval on the reprehensible murder of an innocent and helpless disabled woman.

Chief among these "judges" ordering the murder is a subhuman monster by the name of judge Stanley F. Birch Jr. If I were Mr. Birch Sr., I would disown such an afterbirth of a son or I would be spinning in my grave:

The judge went on to deliver a scathing attack on politicians who got involved in the case, saying the White House and lawmakers "have acted in a manner demonstrably at odds with our Founding Fathers' blueprint for the governance of a free people - our Constitution."

People, it is UNACCEPTABLE that these judges feel that they are above the law and are not answerable to the public that pays their grossly inflated salaries. These judges must be held accountable, EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM. If they are so cowardly and dishonest that they refuse to indicate their votes, they must all be treated as guilty of Terri Schiavo's cruel and vicious murder.

They will be held accountable. By rights, they ought to be taken into the people's custody, lined up against the nearest wall and shot between the eyes for crimes against humanity. But this is not a country where there is justice any longer and therefore the monsters will surely live. But at least they can be removed from office and we must see to it that they live to rue their decision.

May Almighty God damn their unrepentant souls to eternal hell. Until then, may we damn their unrepentant bodies to hell on earth.

In my post immediately preceding this one, I discussed the Michael Schiavo murder gang and their misuse of the words "allow" and "permit."

Now it seems that because the autopsy is out of their hands, they want to imply that an autopsy can do things that it cannot do. For one thing, an autopsy can NOT diagnose PVS (persistent vegetative state):

In an article at MedPage Today, Dr. Michael De Georgia, head of the neurology/neurosurgery intensive care unit at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, said that the diagnosis of PVS "cannot be confirmed by autopsy." Another neurologist added:

The [pathologic examination of the] brain can't tell if there is a persistent vegetative state or not," says Harvard neuropathologist E. Tessa Hedley Whyte, MD. "The autopsy will show damage -- probably mostly scarring now -- and that damage will most likely correspond to some extent to what was seen on images."

So, in order to determine the condition of the brain, it is not enough that it is examined by a pathologist, it has to go to a board certified forensic neuropathologist. With all due respect to the Pinellas County medical examiner Dr. Jon Thogmartin, I do not feel he is qualified to do a neurological exam on a brain. While it disgusts me to have to think and talk on this subject, it is unfortunately a necessary evil in order to keep on top of the misinformation that Michael Schiavo's attorney George Felos is feeding to the media.

Headlines were made recently when it was reported that Michael Schiavo "permitted" Terri to receive Holy Communion. Headlines are being made right now with reports that Michael Schiavo will "permit" an autopsy.

These are nothing but LIES. Michael Schiavo and his deplorable deathist lawyers know darn good and well that those are lies. They know the problems that it would have caused them legally if they had continued to deny Terri Holy Communion. They also know that Michael Schiavo has no say whatsoever regarding whether Terri will have an autopsy or not:

Sure, Praise Someone for an Unfinished, Ill-Executed Job in the Terri Schiavo Case

Once upon a time, there was a man who had a beautiful shiny automobile. The man was understandably proud of his car, and equally understandably dismayed when it began to malfunction. The problems progressed with the car to the point that it would not run at all.

Wisely, the man determined that he would take the car to an auto mechanic to have it fixed. After all, the man had invested a lot of time and money into his car. What good was it to him if it did not run as it should? What good was it to him if it did not function at all?

So, the man took his beloved automobile to the finest repair shop that he could find. He selected the repair shop with care, because naturally he was not going to take his car to just any old shop or a shop that had a bad reputation and a bad record of customer complaints.

The man left his car with the auto mechanic and signed a contract for the car to be repaired. At the designated time, the man went to retrieve his automobile. To his dismay, he was confronted with a large bill from the mechanic, who had not succeeded in getting the car to run.

"Why should I pay for a job that I expected to be done, that you agreed you would indeed do, that you stated I should have every confidence in you to achieve it and assured me that you would (that's the reason I selected you out of all the other possible automobile repair shops!) and yet you have not accomplished what was expected or agreed? You have in effect made a beautiful sale of your reputation and your vaunted skills, but in the end, you have not repaired my car!

No, I shall not pay you a single penny and no, I shall not praise your fine work because you have not upheld your end of the bargain. All you've done is left me looking like a fool because I selected you to do the repairs instead of someone else and you have left them unaccomplished. If you were unable to do the repairs because you lacked the skill, the tools, the parts, or the manpower to achieve them, you should never have promised to do so to begin with.

A wise and respectable workman finishes the job that he has set out to do and that he has promised to do."

THE ORTHODOX CHURCH WEIGHS IN -- OUR ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH ASKS TO BE EXCUSED TO GO USE THE POWDER ROOM

In my previous post "THE RABBIS HAVE SPOKEN! (The Bishops have mumbled something no one could quite catch.)," I pointed out the eloquent, candid and no-holds-barred statement made by the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States and Canada. I stated in no uncertain terms that the Rabbis' statement far outshines the statements or lack thereof by our American bishops and the bishops of Florida.

Now, courtesy of Fr. John Whiteford's News, Comments, & Reflections, we learn that the Protopresbyter Robert Kondratick, chancellor of the Orthodox Church in America, has addressed the case of Mrs. Terri Schaivo.

Once again, our bishops are put to shame in comparison with this statement from the Orthodox Church:

". . . As such, the removal of Mrs. Schiavo from feeding tubes as a means of hastening her death can in no way be condoned or supported. Doing so constitutes a gross lack of wise stewardship of God's sacred gift of life and an extraordinary means of hastening her death by starvation. This is especially so in light of the fact that there has been no clear consensus on her level of awareness and responsiveness, that she has been and continues to breath on her own, and on numerous other factors and questions with regard to her long term prognosis. Simply stated, the removal of Mrs. Schiavo's feeding tubes is not and cannot be condoned."

God bless the Orthodox Church and may our unity one day be restored when Christ returns!

Meanwhile, the bishops of our Roman Catholic faith hemmed and hawed and basically told the Schindler family to take two aspirin and call them in the morning. Oh yeah, and say an "Our Father." And one more thing: Don't call us, we'll call you.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I told our bishops (in my previous post that I have cited and linked above) not to make me have to tell them again that their response has been lackluster and deplorably insufficient. They have made me have to tell them again.

And don't even start with me about the fact that the Vatican has issued very strongly worded and straightforth condemnations of Terri Schiavo's murder. I am well aware of that. I am not criticizing the Vatican. I am addressing the virtually non-existent and pathetically deficient statements or lack thereof by our American bishops and the bishops of Florida.

However, since so many of those same American bishops are still giving communion to known Abortionists, why should we be surprised?

I reaffirm and avow Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. There is no salvation except through Him, the one and only Messiah come in the flesh. I reaffirm my Catholic faith and my Catholic Church, which is supposed to be presented to Christ one day as his spotless bride. But right now, the namby-pamby mutterings of our less than zealous (practically apathetic) bishops, are making Christ's bride look more like an indolent and slothful charwoman who can't even be roused when the house is on fire.

Reading the quotes in the news from Michael Schiavo, George Felos, and their entire murderous mélange is like reading George Orwell's slogans from The Ministry of Truth in his novel 1984.

For those not already familiar with the novel, The Ministry of Truth is anything but truthful. It's job is to rewrite history and to produce all the propaganda for the tyrannical dystopia of a society.

Here's what the Schiavo murderers would have us believe, based on their statements in the press:

Police Presence Increased as Schiavo's Life Ebbs Away

Jeb Bush has tucked his tail between his legs, and I'm not talking about the tail in front. Meanwhile, the MSM's much vaunted "rule of law" takes precedence in the cold-blooded murder of Terri Schindler-Schiavo. Fortunately, photographers were on hand in front of the Hospice in Pinellas Park, Florida to capture on film the above photo of the increased police presence:

The parents of the brain-damaged woman, whose feeding tube was removed 10 days ago despite their objections, asked supporters to return home to spend Easter with their families. However, crowds of sympathisers continued to congregate outside, offering prayers for the 41-year-old woman.

The extra police presence coincided with a report in the Miami Herald that said a team of state law agents was prepared at one point to seize Ms Schiavo, hours after a judge ordered that she was not to be removed from the hospice.

The agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement were allegedly acting under the direction of the State Department of Children and Families, and had set out to the hospice in Pinellas Park to remove her to a hospital and have the feeding tube reinserted.

They were said to be acting under a legal exemption that allows a judge's order to be frozen when appealed by an agency. Pinellas Park police told them they would enforce the judge's order, the Herald said, quoting police sources, and the agents backed down rather than force their way in.

After the incident Florida governor Jeb Bush, who has been under intense pressure to act to prolong Ms Schiavo's life, said he did not have the legal authority to take her into protective custody.

State officials denied that any showdown had occurred. However, the prospect of a confrontation between two branches of law enforcement underscores the intense emotions generated by the case and the dangers of a full-blown constitutional crisis. Armed police officers at the scene told The Irish Times on Thursday they were ready for "any eventuality" but declined to go into details. . ."

After which the police presence clicked their heels smartly and gave a rousing "Heil, Greer!" as the changing of the guard performed with fine and much-applauded synchronized goose-stepping, as some headed to the Biergarten while others made for the crematoria chanting "Arbeit Macht Frei!"

Rabbi Yehuda Levin has issued the following statement on behalf of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States and Canada:

We appreciate the pro-life statements of President Bush and Governor Bush. Yet, their efforts have thus far not been successful. We therefore urge the President and Governor Bush to take immediate and decisive action - either jointly or separately - to save the life of Terri Schindler-Schiavo before it is too late.

"When evil becomes 'legally' sanctioned by government, it rises to a higher order of evil - that of Sodom. Legality does not dictate morality. The Almighty dictates morality.

"America is being tested. Will we pass or will we fail?

"Perhaps some feel that everything that could be done has been done. But our holy Torah, the Word of G-d, says otherwise: 'Am I my brother's keeper?' We all know the answer."

I have nothing but praise for the joint Rabbis' statement. On second thought, yes I do have something else. G-R-A-T-I-T-U-D-E. Thank you, Rabbis! Thank you for having the courage and the moral clarity to condemn this horrible murder of Terri Schindler-Schiavo! I am a Catholic Christian, but I commend you most sincerely and emphatically and offer you my gratitude. I am sure many other Christians feel the same.

Now, compare the Rabbis' excellent no-nonsense joint statement just given above to this watered down, mealy-mouthed, lukewarm pap and crap issued by Bishop Robert N. Lynch of the diocese of St. Petersburg, FL :

"The bishops of Florida have once again addressed the issue of the withdrawal of the artificial feeding tube from Terri Schiavo. As in the past, I join them in addressing this complex and tragic situation. As the local bishop and pastor for all the family parties involved, I would like to add the following. At the end of the day (the judicial, legislative days) the decision to remove Terri’s artificial feeding tube will be that of her husband, Michael. It is he who will give the order, not the courts or certainly the governor or legislature or the medical personnel surrounding and caring for Terri. In other words, as I have said from the beginning of this sad situation, the decision will be made within a family. A significant part of that family feels they are outside of the decision-making process and they are in great pain and suffering mightily

"I urge and pray that before the finality, one last effort be made for mediation. Normally, at the end of life, families of the person in extremis agree that it is time to allow the Lord to call a loved one to Himself, feeling that they have done all they possibly might to provide alternatives to death, every possible treatment protocol which might be helpful has been attempted. There is a peace. This will not happen in this instance because of the seeming intractability of both sides. I beg and pray that both sides might step back a little and allow some mediation in these final hours. The legacy of Terri’s situation should not be that of those who love her the most, loathing the actions of one another, but of a heroic moment of concern for the feelings of each other, guided by moral and ethical considerations, with a single focus of achieving the best result for Terri. I ask the Catholics of the Diocese of St. Petersburg in the waning days of Lent to pray hard to the “Author of All Life” for Terri and for her family."

Catholic Bishops, listen up! It is a very sad day indeed when the Rabbis have the testicular fortitude and the grace of God to say what needs to be said without pulling punches, while our own Bishops churn out some insipid, watery, halfhearted nonsense of circumlocution and obsequious drivel. Shame on you, Bishop Lynch! You are called by God to to fulfill one of the most important roles in His church on earth. You are supposed to be a pastor who looks after His sheep. For shame! Shame on all you feckless, ineffectual, effete Bishops!

God did not appoint you or anoint you to be a diplomat who minces words and tiptoes on eggshells. You are endeavoring to please everyone while accomplishing nothing. Of what or of whom are you afraid? What good is a frightened or cowardly shepherd to the Lord's sheep when the wolves are at hand? If the shepherd will not pastor the Lord's sheep, the black sheep must needs baa the loudest lest all be lost to the wolves because of the sleeping or quailing shepherd. Shame on you, you sheepish shepherds!

Terri Schiavo -- Why Should We Be Surprised?

There has been much talk in the blogsphere concerning the vituperative screeds of those who are condemning us for having fought to save Terri Schindler-Schiavo's life. The brunt of all the attacks and the venom has been directed specifically at Christians or those who are perceived to be Christians, simply because we took a stand for valuing the sanctity of life. For this we are subjected to the most vile and abominable insults, curses and accusations that the pro-death crowd can spew.

Why are you surprised? How could you be? Were you actually expecting anything different?

I John 3:11-13

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

If you have trouble understanding the King James language, in modern parlance it says that Cain killed his brother because Cain knew that he himself was evil. Cain was ashamed of his own wickedness, but rather than change himself, he became angry and took out his anger and shame and frustration on his brother. He killed the good one who made him look bad in comparison.

That's what Michael Schiavo and all his monstrous little murderous minions are doing. They know what they are advocating and doing is wrong. They know that it makes them look utterly wicked and reprehensible. Yet rather than change themselves, rather than stop being wicked, their solution is to destroy those who bring their evil to light. They despise all those who by comparison have exposed their wickedness. Call it, "killing the good witness" whose testimony of life makes the criminals look bad.

Michael Schiavo is nothing but a modern day Cain and so are his coterie of killers .

Don't be surprised if the world hates us. Don't be surprised if the world hates Terri Schindler-Schiavo, her family the Schindlers, and those of us who have fought to proclaim the sanctity of life. The world will most assuredly hate us and it already has amply demonstrated that it does.

We as Christians have let this country become a cesspool. We have no cause to be surprised that the cesspool has now incubated a plethora of walking talking diseases. We have no cause to be surprised that we are criticized and despised. It's nothing original. It isn't a new "social phenomenon." It's the same old story of Cain and stories don't get much older than that.

It is fashionable and politically correct to execrate us, persecute us and humiliate us. It always has been. It seems some are just now waking up enough to realize it or remember it. Police officers scoff at us. Judges spit in our faces. Elected officials simper and mince and take thought only of themselves and maintaining their power, whatever the cost. Even if it costs them their very own souls.

Let Terri be a sign unto us. If her life can be brutally extinguished under "the law," then every one of our lives is equally forfeit and equally subjected to the vagaries and arbitrary whims of our Christless society.

If judges such as George W. Greer and James Whittemore have the power of life and death over the innocent, then every ape in Africa is a magistrate.

Pray for the Schindlers and pray for our nation that is so swiftly seeking damnation.

As a fluent speaker of French and a holder of a Master of Arts degree in the subject, I think I should point out to Monsieur Schiavo and Madamoiselle Centonze that, contrary to their opinion, "fiancée" is NOT the French word for "adulterous slut with whom I have been shacking up for quite some time and with whom I have spawned bastards." Just thought they'd maybe like to know that so that they can choose their words more wisely in the future.

Those gross distortions are purposefully designed to contradict Bob and Mary Schindler, as well as Terri's brother and sister, and to mollify the outrage over this court-sponsored execution of a severely handicapped woman. Of course, what else would you expect from a euthanasia activist.

This felon Felos is a professional liar who even has the bought-and-paid-for judges to back him up. One wonders how many more innocents he has murdered while collecting massive fraudulently obtained Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance company payments.

But don't worry. All the murdered victims of his lies looked just as "beautiful, serene, comfortable" as any victim of the Nazis. Just look at the picture above.

You have surely all heard and seen the calls for us, we who support Terri Schindler-Schiavo's right to life, to give up our fight and to "just let her go in peace."

Excuse me, but I speak a host of languages besides English and read some languages that are ancient, and in none of them does the word "peace" equate to the agonizing death in the above picture which is the exact same agonizing death that Michael Schiavo has planned for Terri for so long.

Starvation and dehydration is a cruel death. Does the above victim of Nazi starvation experiments conjure up images of "peace" to you? If so, in what psychotic, deranged, inhumane alternate universe do you live?

Look at that picture. LOOK AT IT! That's what Michael Schiavo, George Felos, judge George Greer, judge James Whittemore, and all their other accomplices are doing to Terri Schindler-Schiavo right at this moment. And we are letting them do it.

Have you ever wondered how the Nazis succeeded in exterminating so many Jews, Catholics, Homosexuals, etc.? It wasn't Hitler all by himself. One man did not do all that all alone. It wasn't the German laws that caused the Holocaust. German laws were written on paper and things written on paper didn't do it.

The judge who tried the Terri Schiavo case and most recently rejected Gov. Jeb Bush's request to intervene, received a campaign contribution from the lawyer pressing for the brain-injured woman's death, raising questions of a conflict of interest. . .

The contribution from Felos came May 7, 2004, one day after Pinellas County Circuit Court Judge Douglas Baird ruled "Terri's Law" unconstitutional. The Florida Legislature's measure was designed to enable Gov. Bush to intervene in the previous instance in which Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed.

The contribution from Felos was the only one made that day, indicating it was not part of a fund-raising effort.

The Empire Journal also reported contributions to Greer were made by three other lawyers who represented Michael Schiavo at various stages in the case.

No, Jesus did not die specifically for Michael Schiavo. He died for all those who would hearken to Him, and all those who would accept Him and Him alone as their Savior. One cannot simultaneously claim Christ and REJECT Him while in the throes of unrepentant sin.

If you must insist that "Jesus died for Michael," remember that Michael is currently spitting on that very sacrifice of our Lord. This murder of his wife-in-name-only is not compatible with Christian doctrine. His living openly with his adulterous mistress and illegitimate children is not compatible with Christian doctrine.

One cannot have the salvation that is through Christ alone while simultaneously rejecting that salvation and throwing it away with both hands.

In some people's excessive zeal about God's mercy, they become blind to or ignorant of God's JUSTICE.

Pray for Terri Schindler-Schiavo and her family. Michael is not the one who is dying a cruel and wretched death at the moment. You can save your sympathy for him regarding his self-chosen path until some other time.

We talked this week about if it is ever right for a Christian to defy authority. I believe God's law supercedes man's law everytime. We are called to stand up for what we believe is right, even if it goes against authority and law. Marty disagreed. He holds to the passage of scripture that says we must submit to authority. The irony of a reformed protestant saying we should submit to authority was not lost but I digress. . .

Schiavo Judge Refuses to Order Feeding Tube Restored (Update4)

March 25 (Bloomberg) -- A federal judge in Tampa today again refused to order that Terri Schiavo's feeding tube be reinserted, leaving the parents of the brain-damaged Florida woman with few legal options as they fight to keep her alive.

U.S. District Judge James Whittemore ruled that Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, "cannot establish a substantial likelihood of success on the merits'' of their case. Schiavo's parents filed notice that they'll take the case to a federal appeals court in Atlanta that rejected their previous appeal.

It is utterly ridiculous that we would expect any different ruling from the same monsters who refused to listen the first time! What kind of "appeal" makes one return to the same empty well over and over and over again? That's not an appeal process! That's a process of listening to an automated answering machine or the skips of a broken record! One may as well ask one's rapists to please reconsider and not rape you, even though they are still in the very act of raping you! Are the criminals committing the crime the ones to whom we must appeal?! Is that not sheer madness?

Judge George W. Greer and Judge James Whittemore are apostate, Christless judges. We were warned again and again about the dark days of the antichrist and the false prophet. These "judges" are acting in no less capacity than as murderers of the innocent and mouthpieces of Satan. If they dare to claim Christ with their mouths while continuing this atrocious crime, they are only further sealing their utter eternal damnation. God is not mocked. Matthew 7:21-23

The anti-Bush group MoveOn.org is making a grassroots appeal to its supporters, urging them to tell Republican leaders in Congress that their "interference" in the Terri Schiavo case is an "ugly and shameful incident of political grandstanding."

You see? According to these vicious and criminal lunatics, it is "ugly and shameful" to value life and to fight to protect the innocent from murder! Read the entire raving, ranting, rabid response of the liberal left.

Anyone who tells you what a bipartisan effort there is to try to protect Terri Schiavo's innocent life is a liar and a fiend. The party of abortions on demand, the party of partial birth abortions, the party of killing the handicapped and calling it by the disgusting euphemism of "euthanasia," the party that daily refers to our president as Hitler, is actually the party that has devalued human life to the point of allowing murder on demand.

Everyone who has written in defense of Mrs. Schiavo's right to live has received e-mail blasts full of attacks that appear to have been dictated by the unstable and typed by the unhinged. On Democratic Underground they crowed about having "kicked the sh-- out of the fascists." On Tuesday James Carville's face was swept with a sneer so convulsive you could see his gums as he damned the Republicans trying to help Mrs. Schiavo. It would have seemed demonic if he weren't a buffoon.

If we allow this innocent life to be so cruelly and inhumanely snuffed out by these forces of darkness, no one will ever be safe again in this country. Their message is clear -- they alone get to determine what life, if any, is of value. They have appointed themselves arbiters of Terri Schiavo's fate and thus the arbiter of the fate of any and all that suit their psychotic bloodlust.

How is it that so many ostensibly Christian bloggers are devoting so much time to advocating prayers for Michael Schiavo? Are they not aware of what the Bible has to say regarding such things?

In all the anti-life propaganda and rhetoric that is being spewed by pro-death forces, one meme is being repeated ad nauseum -- that is, the claim that the only ones supporting Terri Schindler-Schiavo are Fundamentalist Evangelical Christians. When they say or write the word "Christians," they say or write it with such distaste, such contempt and bile, that one almost expects them actually to eject venom from their mouths or their word processors.

Of course, it is not true at all that we Christians are the only ones who have a respect for life and it is not true that we are the only ones concerned and fighting for Terri Schiavo. There is a wonderful and beautiful organization called Jews for Life that actively promotes pro-life issues and that has been fighting as assiduously as we for Terri Schindler-Schiavo. I feel that Jews for Life has been given short shrift and has been unjustly ignored by the media.

It was while contemplating how grateful I am for Jews for Life also being involved, that a new idea occurred to me. I have blogged previously about the Pontius Pilate meme that has been making its way through the blogsphere. Many writers and bloggers have drawn a comparison between our judiciary and Pontius Pilate.

I feel that a more appropriate comparison may be made between our judiciary and the Pharaoh of the Old Testament as recounted in the book of Exodus. As you will recall, God told Moses to go to Pharaoh and tell him to let God's people go free. Moses did as he was commanded. Moses worked all sorts of wonders, but Pharaoh would not listen or relent.

God visited nine devastating plagues upon Pharaoh and all of Egypt, and still Pharaoh would not change his mind. As a matter of fact, the Bible tells us that Pharaoh's heart was hardened all the more. It was not until the tenth and most heartbreaking plague that Pharaoh finally assented to let the Jews go free.

He had scarcely done so when he immediately reverted back to his hard hearted stance and sent his troops to take the Jews back by force. Even after God had shown every wonder and every just retribution, Pharaoh still had not learned anything.

That is why I think that our judiciary in the Terri Schiavo case can more aptly be compared to Pharaoh than to Pontius Pilate. Our judges are not merely washing their hands of the issue. No, they are instead adamantly, stubbornly, recalcitrantly refusing to listen to reason. No amount of proofs, no amount of appeals, no amount of legal wrangling, no amount of anything, not even an act of Congress can budge them. God Himself could visit a plague of locusts upon the Judge George Greers and the Judge James Whittemores of the world and it would not sway them. A river could turn to blood right in front of Michael Schiavo, his adulterous mistress and their illegitimate offspring and still they would not repent.

We don't have a Moses to argue for God before our judiciary on behalf of Terri Schiavo. However, we do have the blessed and beautiful Jews for Life, as well as all our other writers and bloggers, Christian or otherwise, who are trying to make Pharaoh see reason. For that, I am grateful unto the Lord our God.

Please continue to pray for Terri Schiavo and her family that God may move the very heart of Pharaoh by whatever means is His will. Pharaoh must not triumph in this case.

Mort Kondracke on Fox News This Afternoon - Re: Terri Schiavo

People, I am flabbergasted. Actually, in shock and appalled. This afternoon on Fox Cable News, I heard Mort Kondracke make the most unbelievable statement I have ever heard in my life. It was on the show"Special Report" with Brit Hume. It was in the segment toward the end where Brit has a roundtable discussion with Mara Liasson of National Public Radio, Fred Barnes of The Weekly Standard and Mort Kondracke of Roll Call. Mort Kondracke in the past had always impressed me as a sensible person. After today, I question his sense and his sanity. I hope that the grief from his recent loss has not permanently adversely affected his intellect. Does that sound as though I'm being too harsh? Well, wait until you hear about what he had to say.

When asked about the Terri Schiavo case, he referred to some national hospice association (I don't recall the specific name of it) and said that they informed him that dying by dehydration and starvation is not painful at all. He further said that when dying of dehydration and starvation, one's body produces ketones that put one into a state of euphoria.

I haven't been able to find an official transcript of this on-line, but I assure you that is the gist of what he said. Moreover, he did specifically refer to the ketones and their alleged effect of euphoria. I did hear that and I am not mistaken about that.

I have never heard such a crock in all my life. However, the very next time someone has the gall to ask me for so much as one measly red cent to feed the starving tsunami victims, or feed the starving Ethiopians, or feed the starving whatever, I'll be sure to tell them NO. I'll remind them that dying of starvation and dehydration is absolutely painless and on the contrary, is a blissful and euphoric way to go.

The same goes for any plea from UNICEF, any United Nations plea, and any Dementedcrat plea for aid for the starving. We have the answer that they just provided us, and I thank them. Starvation and dehydration are really good and beneficial and blissful. In fact, they bring about euphoria. Remember that the next time a Demoncrat wants more money for welfare or food stamps. Remember the ketones. Remember the euphoria.

Remember the Orwellian Duckspeak of insane and satanic monsters who did everything they could to murder Terri Schindler-Schiavo and then had the audacity to lie about it. Some people have no shame and just as many have no God. Samuel Clemens aka Mark Twain is quoted as having said that man is the only animal that blushes and the only one that needs to. However, Mark Twain lived in a day when people could still blush with shame. Now no one bothers. They wear their shame like some new Red Badge of Honor.

As you've all probably seen or heard by now, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals has refused to have Terri Schiavo's feeding tube re-inserted.

I will continue to ask for prayers for Terri Schindler-Schiavo and her family, however I no longer see much hope. It appears more and more that God will allow us to reap what we have sown on this one.

For at least 50 years this country has been headed downhill. The rates of divorce , abortion, single working mother "families," drug abuse, pre-marital sex and extra-marital sex have all skyrocketed. We have a culture of death. It is now not only tolerated but POPULAR for the public to insult and curse Christians. You have surely seen or heard the comments in the media and on other blogs. The comments are absolutely vile and vituperative. Now when the word "Christian" is uttered, people don't even attempt to hide their contempt and hatred and complete scorn.

I truly believe Terri's case will be the Roe vs. Wade for killing all "undesirables" in this country. And let me tell you, in the current climate, Christians are increasingly being referred to as "undesirable."

Our lawmakers and our government officials are simply following the popular culture of death and evil that put them into power. This country created this situation (and if nothing else, we are all culpable of at least allowing it to be created).

Should we be afraid? Yes, we should be. We've allowed garbage and filth to rule the roost in all walks of life for far too long. Now all the poisons that are in the mud are hatching out.

Many are championing this as a great example of Democracy in action. Well, so was the crowd's choice of Barabbas over Jesus. That too was "democracy in action." I'm sure I don't need to remind you how that turned out.

Pray for God's intervention, prepare for God's wrath.

The New Pantagruel has issued an Editorial Statement on Terri Schindler-Schiavo. The following is excerpted from it because it says what I have been waiting to see someone have the courage to write:

It now appears that all legal recourse to save Terri’s life has failed. As Terri’s family and millions of people know, the State is wrong. There is a higher law. If last ditch efforts in the Florida Legislature and the United States Congress also fail, and the administration of Governor Jeb Bush fails in its duty to uphold the higher law, those closest to Terri—her family, friends, and members of their communities of care—are morally free to contemplate and take extra-legal action as they deem it necessary to save Terri’s life, up to and including forcible resistance to the State’s coercive and unjust implementation of Terri’s death by starvation. It doesn't surprise me that the modern day Pontius Pilates are trying their best to wash their hands of this. It also doesn't surprise me when prominent lawyer bloggers in the blogsphere niggle and dicker back and forth. That's exactly what I would expect them to do. The Right to Life vs. the Right of the Mightiest - A Terri Schindler-Schiavo Fable

Again and again I am confronted by news articles, blog posts, and commentary on television stating that Judge Whittemore's ruling in the Terri Schiavo case was really the only possible ruling, that the judge was compelled to rule as he did.

What utter hogwash! If you truly believe that, I have some beachfront property for sale in Yuma, Arizona and an outdoor iceskating rink for sale in Gila Bend. Compelled? Compelled by whom? Compelled by what?

Aesop had a lot to say about this type of ruling. It was what he called "might makes right." Jean de La Fontaine updated Aesop in the 17th century. I'll reproduce what La Fontaine wrote followed by my own English translation, which matches the original French in poetic form line by line.

Le Loup et L'Agneau

La raison du plus fort est toujours la meilleure:
Nous l'allons montrer tout à l'heure.
Un Agneau se désaltérait
Dans le courant d'une onde pure.
Un Loup survient à jeun qui cherchait aventure,

Terri Schindler-Schiavo is the lamb and the judges who have presided over this case are the wolves. They ruled as they did because they have the power to rule as they did and that is what they wished to do. The law does not compel you to do anything as evil as to kill an innocent person, charged with no crime, convicted of no crime, and with whom you are not at war. If there were such a law, and if you were to obey it, you are still responsible for your abhorrent action because you had the free will choice to reject an abomination that passes for "law."

Don't give me that "compelled" crap. You all know better than that, or at least you should.

Terri Schiavo, Next Victim of Judge James Whittemore and the Clinton Legacy of Evil?

U.S. District Judge James Whittemore has ruled against allowing Terri Schiavo's feeding tube being re-inserted.

Is anyone truly surprised? According to this article, he's just another element in Bill Clinton's legacy of evil inflicted on this nation:

"I think you'd be hard-pressed to convince me that you have a substantial likelihood" of the parents' lawsuit succeeding, said Whittemore, nominated by former President Clinton in 1999.

Of course, therefore, Whittemore's ruling is as wicked as one would expect it to be.

Whittemore's ruling for murdering an innocent woman is being appealed to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta.

In the meantime, Whittemore has succeeded in starving and dehydrating Terri Schiavo for another day. Truly, the entire Michael Schiavo cabal of evil wants nothing more than to succeed in murdering Terri before any appeal can be granted.

People, this is what you get when you allow our nation's morals to become so warped and twisted. Or rather, this is what you get when you allow our nation to abandon morals altogether.

Please continue to pray fervently for Terri Schindler-Schiavo and her family that this evil Judge Whittemore's ruling will be overturned on appeal. And while you're at it, pray for us all. If a judge can rule to have an innocent person murdered, then we are all vulnerable now to the death decrees. The life you save may not just be Terri's, it may be your own. But the life we lose may not just be Terri's, it may also be our own.

Michael Schiavo, Your Tongue Is Telling on You!

In this article from USA TODAY, Michael Schiavo is quoted as having "told the St. Petersburg Times that DeLay is a 'little slithering snake.'"

Of course the St. Petersburg Times dutifully printed that barb from an adulterous would-be murderer. That erstwhile husband is currently living with his mistress, Jodi Centonze, and has sired children with her. Consider the source, both the source of the quote and the media entity that published it.

This appears to be a textbook case of psychological projection on the part of Michael Schiavo. What he recognizes in himself but cannot bear to face he projects on others.

In other words, it's a classic example of the pot calling the snowfall black.

Please continue to pray for Terri Schindler-Schiavo and her family that the feeding tube will be re-inserted ASAP. For three days inhumane and inhuman monsters have deprived her of nutrition and hydration. For over 12 years these same forces have deprived her of medical care, necessary tests, and rehabilitative therapy.

Bill to Possibly Help Terri Schiavo Approved & Signed

The good news, if it can be called good news, is that Congress finally passed a bill that MAY help Terri Schiavo. The president signed it.

The bad news is that there are no guarantees and that this increasingly sick nation would even question Terri's right to live:

"It gives Terri Schiavo another chance," Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., said after the late-afternoon voice vote in a near-empty Senate chamber. "It guarantees a process to help Terri, but does not guarantee a particular outcome."

The House passed the bill on a 203-58 vote early Monday after calling lawmakers back for an emergency Sunday session for debate that stretched past midnight.

The measured [sic] was backed by 156 Republicans to 5 who voted against it and 71 who did not vote; 47 Democrats voted in favor, 53 against and 102 did not vote. The lone independent in the 435 member house did not vote.

That means that the 5 Republicans and the 53 Democrats who voted against it ought to be voted out of office, not to mention the 71 Republicans, the 102 Democrats and the lone Independent who didn't bother to show up or vote. As far as I'm concerned, they are all would-be accomplices in Terri's murder. They shouldn't just be voted out of office; by rights they ought to be publicly flogged and ridden out of town on a rail.

Just two of the worst offenders mentioned in the article are Rep. Jim Davis, D-Fla and Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass. But as you can clearly see from the figures given above regarding the vote, those two despicable monstrosities are not alone. I'll do my best to get a list of every single one of them that voted against the bill and post it on this blog.

Please continue to pray for Terri Schindler-Schiavo and her family. Don't even suggest to me that Michael Schiavo, her adulterous "husband" and would-be murderer, qualifies as "family." He has a "family" with his mistress and their illegitimate progeny.

It is a sign of our times and a sign of an increasingly depraved nation that the MSM portrayed Michael Schiavo as a victim in all of this and to this day continues to print outright lies about Terri's condition. All too many, particulary of the leftwing persuasion, have bought those lies and in turn propagated them far and wide without shame or restraint.

It is very late at night (or early morning) and that's enough for now. But this subject is far from over.

John McCain's Diarrhea of the Mouth vs. Terri Schiavo and the Right to Life

That is, unfortunately, the senator from my state speaking. One would think this sorry excuse for a senator, this traitor to the constituency that elected him to office, would have the sense to know when to keep his mouth shut. Yes, one would think so, but one would be mistaken as evidenced from his above quote.

It's so nice to know that our senator has the values of the people who elected him. NOT!

Senator McCain, if you are so stupid that you don't know that the only legitimate purpose of legislators is to prevent the kind of murder of the innocent and helpless, such as Terri Schiavo, from taking place then you are too far gone to represent us any longer.

If you fear that the protection of innocent life is becoming a "political issue" then you have no business being in Congress.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this ignominious senator of Keating 5 infamy, this co-author of the McCain-Feingold Abomination, this Grade F senator of illegal alien issues has got to go. It is past time for him to be recalled out of office. He is not a conservative. His is the wishy-washy flip-flop senator of centrism and thus the media's darling for the moment. But he is not Arizona's darling. He is a disgrace.

Senator McCain, if you can't enthusiastically and unreservedly help in saving the life of Terri Schiavo the least you could do is grace us with your silence. I don't give a flying flip about your political and Machiavellian machinations and aspirations. The sanctity of life outweighs every other consideration. It makes me sick to think that I ever voted for this erstwhile "hero" who has long been bereft of any dignity, integrity or faithfulness to his constituents.

Breaking News about Terri Schiavo

It appears that Congress has reached an agreement regarding the Terri Schiavo situation. Under the terms of the agreement, nutrition and hydration would be restored to Terri while a federal court would get jurisdiction to look at the case.

Keep praying for Terri and her family in the interim. We must not stop until the sanctity of life is recognized from conception to natural death. Needless to say, it is not a "natural death" to cause a person to die of thirst and starvation.

The Disneyfication of Christianity - How Evil Justifies the Murder of Terri Schiavo

God loves everyone! God is all about unconditional love! Everything that happens is God's will!

Oh, really? The very first thing you should do if you ever hear someone claiming to be a Christian and yet spouting the above type of nonsense is to run as fast as you can and as far away as you can from them.

Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34

"And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice saying, Eli, Eli lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"

In our Disneyfied world of used car salesmen for Christ and other "New Age" charlatans, the popular view that one is supposed to express is that God loves you just the way you are. That is a patent, baldfaced lie.

When Christ was on the cross, having taken upon himself the sins of the world, God the Father could not even look at him. Thus our Lord's words, "My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me?"

On La Shawn Barber's blog, there is a letter from one of her readers who bemoans an alleged lack of compassion for Michael Schiavo. "But he's God's child too!" is the import of what that letter writer wails.

While it may pain some to hear it, nevertheless, the truth must be spoken:

God cannot love Michael Schiavo while he unrepentantly wallows in the sins that he is in the process of committing. The rapist in the act of committing rape, the murderer in the act of committing murder will cry in vain to God, if they cry to Him at all.

One is not Christian if one condones evil, sympathizes with evil, or enables evil. God cannot bear to look at such unrepentant sin in the making. God's love is very much conditional. If He loved you just the way you are, there would have been no need for our Savior's sacrifice on the cross. If everyone were equally loved no matter what, there would be no need for a Redeemer and there would be no hell.

If you want prayers and compassion for Michael Schiavo et al., you should be praying that God will move their hearts from their current course of defiant evil and open their minds, hearts and souls to the grace of salvation which can only be attained through Christ our Lord.

There can be no love or forgiveness from God while one is in the very throes of stubborn, blind, unrepentant sin.

I implore all those, whom the Holy Spirit may move to do so, to reject the Disneyfication of Christianity, to reject the "happy endings for one and all" nonsense that makes a mockery of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross.

If one must pray for Michael Schiavo, let it be a prayer that he and those like him will turn from a course that leads inevitably to death and damnation.

However, in the meantime, pray most fervently that Terri Schiavo may be spared from a cruel and inhumane death at the hands of monsters, aided and abetted by misguided and misinformed pseudo-Christians who base their beliefs on whatever passing whim they feel from moment to moment, rather than on the Word of God.

Christ is God and the infallible Word of God. His teachings are not compatible with mollycoddling sinners in the very act of committing their sin.

I would that it were so! I wish that the civil liberties brigade would remain silent, since obviously they are not about to defend Terri Schiavo's life. No, instead they are going to yammer as loudly as they can to the MSM and to anyone who will listen this kind of garbage:

Howard Simon, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union's Florida office, said his group's attorneys were working with Michael Schiavo's attorneys to determine if the subpoenas would block the scheduled removal of the tube.

"This is clearly an effort to circumvent a lawful court order by a state judge," Simon said. "I am not sure how a subpoena, which is ordinarily done to produce records or somebody to testify, can essentially have the effect of an injunction overriding the orders of a court.

You see? The civil liberties brigade isn't being silent. They are simply clamoring for the other side. They are complicit in the attempted murder of Terri Schiavo and the efforts by Michael Schiavo, George "Felon" Felos, and Judge George W. Greer to deprive Terri Schiavo of her civil liberties and her right to life.

God have mercy on us when the ACLU-minded snivelers of the world sympathize with and vociferously champion monsters such as Mohammad Bijeh, and yet consign the helpless and the innocent to torture by starvation and dehydration.

No, the ACLU unfortunately is never silent. Since they so consistently defend evil while simultaneously combatting good, it would actually be a blessing if they would remain silent for a change. But don't hold your breath waiting for them to do so. If you did, they'd have you declared to be in a "persistent vegetative state" and work to arrange your court mandated murder.

Saint Patrick - Earliest Christian Poet

According to Katharine Scherman in her book, The Flowering of Ireland: Saints, Scholars and Kings "A sacred poem in Irish, Faedh Fiada (Cry of the Deer), is said to have been composed by Patrick as he approached Tara. King Laoghaire's men, sent to ambush and murder him, saw only a herd of deer in the hills, with a fawn following them, and mistook the chanting of the hymn for the call of the fawn after its mother." Later in the book she adds,"The earliest Christian poet was St. Patrick. Of the few poems attributed to him, only one may be partly genuine -- the Faedh Fiada (Cry of the Deer), noted earlier. It is a moving, fervently pious hymn. . ."

This poem, this Faedh Fiada is also spelled Faeth Fiada and even fOid Jiada. Other names for it include The Lorica of St. Patrick, St. Patrick's Breastplate[Lúireach Pádraig], and Saint Patrick's Rune.

If you have ever read Madeleine L'Engle's A Swiftly Tilting Planet, you maybe familiar with her short adaptation of a portion of the much longer poem:

At Tara in this fateful hour,
I place all Heaven with its power
And the sun with its brightness,
And the snow with its whiteness,
And the fire with all the strength it hath,
And the lightning with its rapid wrath,

I don't know John Smallberries, the volunteer who was interviewed, but I can assure you that he is not exaggerating. As he says in the interview, he does not live in Arizona. I do live in Arizona. Everything he says is true. He also puts his finger on the crux of the problem -- i.e. the rest of the country feels that the illegal alien invasion is "somebody else's" problem.

People, this is not someone else's problem if you are a U.S. citizen. Whether you are reading this in Minnesota or Ohio, Michigan or New York, this problem is not going to go away and it is not going to confine its disastrous effects to Arizona. You cannot afford to pretend that it doesn't exist. You cannot afford to continue shrugging your shoulders and saying that you are immune because you don't live in a state near the Mexican border.

Educate yourselves. Please read La Shawn's interview. Also, please check out the site of The Minuteman Project. I beseech you not to ignore the problem with illegal immigration. I implore you not to rely on misinformation or disinformation. Arizona needs your help. The Minuteman Project needs your help. Greer are determined to murder Terri Schiavo, but the St. Petersburg Times is cheering them on and the Pinellas Park city officials are now getting in on the act. They are all complicit in this hideous murder. Top that all off with the cupidity and greed of local businesses who intend to profit by charging $100.00 for parking. I'm surprised they're not selling tickets for front row seats to watch Terri be slowly and cruelly murdered by starvation and dehydration.

It is inconceivable to me that our nation has become so wicked that such things are countenanced. Not only are they countenanced, they are actively advocated and urged onward by these vipers that masquerade as human being.

Successful Rally Against Home Depot

This is a follow-up to my previous post from yesterday that you can read here.

I don't live in Rancho Cucamonga, California, so unfortunately I was not able to attend the rally that took place yesterday against Home Depot, "protesting Home Depot's support and work with La Raza a group that is in support of returning the southwest states to Mexico. They were also protesting Home Depot's support and implementation of day labor facilities on their property for illegal aliens."

But fortunately, we have concerned citizens who are committed to actually doing something. I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am for all the people who did attend that rally. While others are content to twiddle their thumbs as this country is being invaded, and some misguided souls are even advocating rewarding the illegal invaders, at least we have some people who are attending rallies and actually trying to do something.

George Felos? Shouldn't that be "George Felon"?

From The Empire Journal comes this news regarding George Felos, the felonious attorney who has been fighting in the courts so long to have Terri Schindler-Schiavo murdered:

"Schiavo Attorney Felos No Stranger To Medicare Fraud

Fraud in the court and fraud in the hospice.

Five years ago this month, Florida's most vulnerable adult was transferred without court order and without the proper written certification to the Hospice of Florida Suncoast at Woodside in Pinellas County.

According to records obtained by The Empire Journal , it appears that not only is there indication of a scripted plan for premeditated murder but insurance fraud in the Terri Schiavo case.

In March, 2000, Michael Schiavo and his attorney, George Felos, secretively relocated Terri Schindler-Schiavo from the Palm Gardens Nursing Home to the hospice without court order and without notifying her parents.

George Felos also conveniently forgot to give notice to the court and her parents, Mary and Robert Schindler Sr. that he was chairman of the board of directors at the Hospice at the time and had been since at least Jan. 31, 1997 and perhaps earlier.

George Felos also forgot to tell the court that at the time that Terri Schiavo was unlawfully entered into the Hospice of Florida Suncoast Inc. that the federal government was actively trying to recover nearly $15 million paid to the corporation in a fraudulent Medicare payments because patients certified as terminally ill were not in fact terminally ill and ineligible to be admitted to the Hospice under Medicare.

. . . According to the sequence of events in the Schiavo case, it appears that Felos and Michael Schiavo with the assistance of the courts have engaged in not only premeditated murder but perhaps a well-orchestrated and premeditated insurance fraud.

. . . Felos seemingly intentionally judge shopped to seek out Greer in Clearwater to file the death warrant petition.

At that time, under Florida Statutes, a feeding tube was not considered artificial life support. In April, 1999, House Bill 2131 was introduced in the Florida House by the Elder Affairs and Long Term Care Committee.

Gus Bilikaris was a member of that committee----and a member of the board of directors at Hospice of Florida Suncoast with Felos---and a campaign contributor to George W. Greer. On Oct. 1, 1999, the legal definition of life prolonging procedures was amended under Florida law to add 'including artificially provided sustenance and hydration which sustains, restores or supplants a spontaneous vital function.'

. . . Although money had been specifically earmarked by the court in the 1992 malpractice suit for Terri's rehabilitation, and despite Michael Schiavo having received well over $1 million, in 2002 he petitioned the court and Greer for permission to place Terri on Medicaid and permission was granted. "

Read the whole thing. It is a tale of corruption and crime from beginning to end. Felos the felon, Greer the grafter and Michael Schiavo the swindler. All three are also guilty of nothing less than pre-meditated murder, and yet they remain free because of our corrupt system. All three belong behind bars. Is it any wonder that we increasingly have nothing but contempt for our courts?

If we sit back and let these vicious and corrupt criminals succeed in legalizing the murder of Terri Schiavo by nothing other than their fiat, we will be complicit in all of their crimes.

MartiniPundit Parses the Politicians' Ponzi Scheme

Matt of MartiniPundit does a great job of calling the Social Security system exactly what it is and what it always has been -- a Ponzi scheme.

But "Stop right there!" you say. "What exactly is a Ponzi scheme? What do you mean?"

The following is a definition of a Ponzi scheme, courtesy of goldhaven.com:

In 1919, a guy named Charles Ponzi convinced about a dozen people he could make them 50% profit in 45 days by an international trading scam. And sure enough, at the end of 45 days, he paid off. Each person got exactly what was promised, $375 for each $250 they invested. When word spread of this great opportunity, thousands ran to give Ponzi their money. What he was doing, of course, was using the money from the newest investors to pay off the oldest investors. As long as the crowds kept getting bigger, he was okay. He skimmed money off the top and started living high on the hog. Eventually, in 1920 the whole thing collapsed. and he went to jail for 10 years.

The Internet is allowing a new surge in the number of Ponzi schemes being promoted to unwary victims. Particular offshore havens known for lax regulation are part of the plan because they allow the promoters complete anonymity and banking secrecy to hide their ill-gotten gains. One program we saw
asks victims to invest a minimum of $25 to be paid back $1,000,000 in eight years. What do you want to bet the promoters won't be around when it comes to pay-back time? The problem is that the more patient the scammers, and the larger
the pot. There are also many more victims!

Promoters increase the number of participants by paying out promised returns to early participants. As in the case of Charles Ponzi, this creates a stampede of victims wanting to take part. Like a pyramid scheme, those entering the program later, get left holding the bag.

Now can you see why Social Security truly is a Ponzi scheme as Matt of MartiniPundit accurately and truthfully asserts? Those who paid into it at its early stages really did receive returns as promised. However, those returns were not the result of their money having been invested in something that earned money for them. No, those payouts they received came from those who came later and were paying into the same scheme.

And so it still goes. The problem is, the Ponzi politicians are rapidly reaching a point where they won't be able to rake in enough money from the "newer" victims of the scam in order to pay off that which was promised to the earlier duped participants. At that point, both newer and earlier dupees will be left with nothing.

Just which generation would you prefer to be left holding the bag when this Ponzi scheme at last blows up? Would you prefer it to be your own generation that is left with nothing? Self-preservation and selfishness aside, what kind of cold and callous monster does it take to leave its offspring deliberately destitute?
